The adaptive processes underlying the improvement of physical performance
develop in accordance with a predictable dynamic described by a systemic model, provided that the training load can be quantitatively assessed and the model parameters defining the relationship
between training volume and the achieved level of functional performance are known. The application of modern monitoring methods allows for a deeper understanding of how the athlete’s body responds to training loads of various orientations and adapts to them. This article presents the results of a study on the physiological responses of qualified Qazaq kuresi wrestlers based on heart
rate monitoring and the calculation of the integral training load index using the TRIMP method, which enabled an objective assessment of the intensity of training sessions of different orientations. The
mean values of the integral indicator of internal training load during technical and tactical training (TTT) were significantly higher than during general and special physical preparation (GPP/SPP) sessions (p<0.05). Energy expenditure values in kilocalories were also higher in TTT sessions compared to GPP/SPP sessions (p<0.001). The mean heart rate values of Qazaq kuresi athletes during TTT and GPP/SPP training sessions were 117.3 ± 11.9 and 126.6 ± 14.8 bpm, respectively. Despite a slight increase in the latter case, statistical analysis (t = –1.63; p = 0.1272) showed no significant differences.
2025-09-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Theory and Methods of Physical Education http://46.34.130.122/index.php/tmfk/article/view/859 Ways of promoting healthy lifestyles through the development of national sports in higher education institutions (within the framework of the Student League and the Summer Universiade) 2025-09-03T14:58:51+00:00 Baglan Yermakhanov baglan0989@mail.ru Zhandos Yessirkepov zhandos-1978@mail.ru Aydin Doshybekov doshybekov@mail.ru Talgat Daniarov talgat.daniyarov@ayu.edu.kz
The article examines the opportunities for promoting healthy lifestyles among university students through the development of national games, which represent an important element of Kazakh cultural tradition. The purpose of the study is to provide a scientific rationale and approbation of the national games Asyk Atu and Bestas as a means of fostering a healthy lifestyle among students, as well as to identify effective ways of integrating them into the educational process, the Student League, and the Summer Universiade. Within the framework of the XIII Summer Universiade, held in 2025 in Turkistan at the International University of Tourism and Hospitality, competitions and student clubs dedicated to national games were organized, and a survey was conducted among participants. The collected data were subjected to scientific and theoretical analysis. The findings demonstrated that Asyk Atu and Bestas contribute to the development of students’ agility, speed, endurance, accuracy, ability to estimate distances, and visual-motor coordination. Based on the analysis, pedagogical opportunities and effective forms of integrating national games into the higher education system were identified, which highlights their potential for practical use in fostering healthy lifestyles among students.
2025-09-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Theory and Methods of Physical Education http://46.34.130.122/index.php/tmfk/article/view/884 Formation of a healthy lifestyle among university students: analysis of the World Health Organization WHOQOL-BREF (Kaz) indicators 2025-09-10T16:07:46+00:00 Galymzhan Kopzhanov garlik.82@mail.ru Baglan Yermakhanov baglan0989@gmail.com Lyaila Iskakova leila-7777@mail.ru Sayagul Bakhtiyarova sayagul.bakhtiyarova@mail.ru Bakhytzhan Kuanyshbayev bakhytzhan.kuanyshbayev@ayu.edu.kz
The article examines the features of healthy lifestyle formation among university students based on the analysis of data from the World Health Organization’s WHOQOL-BREF (KAZ) scale. This instrument provides a comprehensive assessment of quality of life, including health status, physical activity, psychological resilience, social relationships, and environmental conditions. These indicators reflect students’ attitudes toward their own health, self-preservation skills, and the level of healthy lifestyle development. The university period is a crucial stage that significantly influences students’ future professional and social adaptation. Healthy habits formed during this time – such as regular physical activity, balanced nutrition, avoidance of harmful behaviors, and emotional stability – may be maintained throughout life. The analysis revealed that psychological resilience and social support are key factors in improving students’ quality of life, despite low levels of physical activity and insufficiently developed nutrition culture. The findings can serve as a theoretical and practical basis for designing programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening the physical, psychological, and social well-being of students within the university education system.
2025-09-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Theory and Methods of Physical Education http://46.34.130.122/index.php/tmfk/article/view/877 Experience and practice of organizing mass sports for the middle-aged and elderly population 2025-09-02T16:44:30+00:00 Zhassyn Mukhambet zhas_ski@mail.ru Andrey Shunko chastmira@gmail.com Yerbol Myrzabossynov kense@msm.gov.kz Tursynzada Kuangaliyeva t_kuangaliyeva@apems.edu.kz Khanat Kassenov kh_kassenov@apems.edu.kz
The article provides an overview of methodologies and approaches to organizing mass sports activities for middle-aged and elderly populations in foreign countries.
