The data obtained, based on the analysis of reports on hiking trips of the first category of complexity and the results of the ascertaining experiment, testify not only to changes in the system of children's tourism, in particular: changes in the load conditions of tourists such as duration, length of the route, composition of the day trip, weight characteristics (daily the layout of food, equipment, the weight of a tourist backpack), but also about the real conditions and features of tourist routes. The dynamics for the period from 2000 to 2018 is shown.
