Abstract

The Kazakh system of physical education for schoolchildren is moving away from the traditional system and has moved to a new updated system of physical education. In search of innovative approaches to the physical culture of schoolchildren, the experience of foreign countries in Europe and Asia was studied, where a range of new functions is presented that implements physical culture as a school subject. The article provides a comparative analysis of the development of the school system of physical education in Kazakhstan with foreign countries, which showed that there are common features and directions that can be borrowed from the experience of physical education in foreign countries. New approaches of schoolchildren physical education are developing in national system of education: introduction of national type of sports by means of sectional classes during extracurricular time; and the network of school sports leagues for mass sports is expanding.
