Particular attention is paid to the process of certification of tour guides and its specifics. This model was developed in the context of the educational program "Tourism" and is focused on the formation of key professional competencies, the choice of effective methods and forms of training, as well as assistance in the employment of graduates. The development of this model of the minor educational program is based on the analysis of programs implemented at the Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynuly.
