Analysis of the effectiveness of gaming activity of highly qualified billiard players

The article deals with the problem of analyzing the effectiveness of the sportsmanship of highly qualified billiard players when playing the pyramid. The specificity of billiards is shown as one of the sports that arouses special interest of the audience - winning a game from one approach. The most relevant indicators and patterns of competitive activity are revealed, in particular, the great selectivity of masters of sports when choosing a tournament to participate in it, a formula for calculating the effectiveness of a game and a match is proposed, and the average effectiveness and duration are revealed. The analysis of various types of blows showed that different categories of billiard players have the most frequently used and effective blows. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, reliable links were established between different categories of billiard players, and the closest correlations were found between masters of sports and international class masters of sports in terms of balls pocketed and not pocketed into the pocket. It was also found that the most significant and effective blow in the classification list is the “cut blow”. To win back, the most intensively used are such types of blows as “rolling”, “upper left side or rolling to the left” and “cutting blow”.
