The study of the technical and psychological readiness of highly qualified female volleyball players revealed an insufficient level of their formation, which has a negative impact on the performance of the ball passing for an attacking hit. An analysis of the effectiveness of the competitive activity of highly qualified volleyball players showed its insufficiently high level: in more than six percent of cases, female athletes perform inaccurate passes of the ball, after which it is difficult to perform an attacking blow. The analysis of the components of psychological and technical readiness and the factor analysis according to Fisher made it possible to establish a fairly high degree of influence of psychological and technical readiness on the effectiveness of the competitive activity of female volleyball players. Volleyball players with high rates of psychological and technical preparedness more often perform targeted passes of the ball for an attacking shot.
