The system of organization of olympic education in the training of specialists of physical culture and sports

Abstract

The article presents the experience of organizing the Olympic education system in the training of specialists in «physical culture and sport» in the higher education system. The ways of introducing various forms, means and methods of Olympic education into practice, introducing them to the ideals and values of Olympism, improving Olympic knowledge, promoting the spread of Olympism in training programs for specialists in «physical culture and sports» are outlined. The experience of implementing the ideas of Olympism at the M.Utemisov West Kazakhstan University is also presented. Thus, this article was the real beginning of the modernization of Olympic education in the country. Because the creation of an Olympic education system is structurally possible and capable of covering all educational institutions in Kazakhstan, and the use of Olympic education creates a real opportunity to educate and educate the younger generation in the spirit of genuine Olympic values - respect, friendship, striving for excellence.
