Abstract

The article defines the theoretical aspects of the components of the updated content of education on the subject of "physical culture". Among them, we can distinguish the criterion assessment of students, long-term.yu medium- and short-term planning. The problems of designing long-term, medium-term, short-term plans for the subject "physical culture" by physical education teachers in middle classes are revealed. Namely: not the ability to fully comprehend the amount of skills and knowledge that students should acquire within the framework of the section being studied; not having sufficient experience in integrating all the knowledge and skills of students; difficulties in selecting all the necessary terms; incomplete vision of the integral scope of skills, knowledge; inability to develop staged guidelines for students, allowing them to comprehensively master the elements of the program section; inability to clearly link the objectives of the lesson with a long-term reference point; inability at the end of the lesson to develop specific criteria by which students can evaluate their work. The problems of criteria-based assessment of secondary school students on the subject of "physical culture" are studied. Namely: inability to correlate the set learning goals with adequately developed descriptors; clearly correlate the set learning goals with the content of selected tasks; correctly evaluate the work of students; disagreement with the fact that summative assessment is not provided at this time.
