The article is devoted to the issues of physical education of persons with special educational needs, in particular, students with disabilities in inclusive education in higher educational institutions. Based on the study of foreign experience of inclusive practice in higher educational institutions, the authors propose ways to include students with special educational needs and disabilities in the educational process of physical culture and sports. It is determined that in order to increase the physical activity of persons with special educational needs, including students with disabilities in conditions of study at a higher educational institution and to completely eliminate barriers to equal access to education, it is necessary to adapt all types of curricula and assessment policies to the capabilities and characteristics of students. The article was prepared as part of the execution of the tasks of the scientific project for grant funding for scientific and scientific-technical projects.
