Psychological well-being as a factor of professional self-determination of future specialists (on the example of the specialty of physical culture and sports)

In this article, we consider psychological well-being as a factor in the professional self-determination of future specialists in physical culture and sports, and also identify the relevance of this study to the requirements of today's society. Analyzing the works of many scientists in the psychological and pedagogical literature, we give a scientific definition of the concept of professional self-determination. The directions of personal self-determination (personal, professional, social) were determined, we also determine the role of professional self-determination in the context of training future specialists in physical culture and sports. A comparative analysis of the levels of self-determination of athletes was made, and their features regarding the specifics of the specialty were revealed. The concept of psychological well-being was characterized within the framework of scientific areas (philosophy, economics, sociology, law, medicine, psychology), the features of psychological well-being were clarified. In the direction of the study of psychological well-being, a modified methodology was determined, and a study was conducted among students of 1-4 courses, the results were systematized on the basis of a percentage indicator and independent conclusions were made.
