The study of psychological training in water sports

The article, carried out within the framework of the scientific project "Development of scientifically-based proposals for improving technical preparedness and improving psychological and pedagogical support for the preparation of sports reserves in water sports", examines the issues of psychological training as one of the components of the training process. The results of the survey aimed at identifying the attitude of athletes engaged in water sports and coaches to psychological training in general, to methods and forms of its implementation in particular, are described. The analysis of psychological problems is given, based on the responses of respondents that they encounter during training and competitions, and the most effective psychological techniques and methods aimed at correcting the psychological states of athletes are identified. Based on the analysis of the responses of the survey participants, conclusions were drawn that characterize psychological preparation as an integral part of the training process.
