In the course of the research of the scientific work, the scientific and theoretical foundations of the formation of cognitive activity of Primary School students by means of national mobile games in physical education lessons were determined. Also, in determining the scientific and theoretical basis for the formation of cognitive activity of Primary School students through national mobile games in physical education lessons, the importance of National Games in the development of the child's thinking, cognition and the special importance of the game in the development of the child's creative imagination, abilities, language, the opinions of teachers about the importance of National Games were analyzed. A model for the formation of cognitive activity of Primary School students through national mobile games in physical education lessons has been developed, focusing on the theoretical and methodological foundations. This model allows us to identify the components of this formation, develop technologies, define stages and forms of organization, methods, criteria and indicators, select diagnostic tools and combine them all into a single structure and systematically implement them.
