The article presents an analysis of anti-doping rule violations by Kazakhstani athletes for 2020, 2021
and the first half of 2022 based on the list of Kazakhstani athletes who are in disqualification due to
anti-doping rule violations of the Kazakhstan National Anti-Doping Center. The gradation of the use of
prohibited drugs by sports has been determined. The results of the use of prohibited drugs by Kazakhstani
athletes for the specified period were established by the maximum number of samples – drugs that were
most often found in the body of athletes during the specified period. Based on the analysis of anti-doping
rule violations by Kazakhstani athletes, it can be unequivocally concluded that the situation with doping
in Kazakhstani sports is complex and requires an immediate solution, primarily through the formation and
implementation of a program for the development of sports pharmacology, as a direction of scientific
knowledge, at the level of the state management in sports and at the level of training highly qualified
professional personnel in sports pharmacology in higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan.
