Efficiency of using «Flipped Classroom» technology in teaching students in the specialty of tourism

The tourism industry is an important sector of the economy of any developing country. Therefore, the training of qualified and competitive specialists in this field is currently considered one of the most pressing issues. For this, it becomes necessary to use modern teaching technologies that transform the learning process of tourist students from the usual traditional approach into a versatile and creative one. Among these innovative teaching methods, Flipped Classroom technology stands out. A special experiment was conducted for 2nd year students of the specialty «Tourism» in order to study the influence of this technology on the formation of the most important qualities of the 21st century in students. The first group was researched as an experimental group, and the second as a control group. According to the results of the study, the students of the experimental group became especially inspired to study and got the opportunity to independently enter the educational process as a result of conducting lessons using the Flipped Classroom technology. The result of the experiment proved that the Flipped Classroom technology significantly helps to improve the quality of education and the level of interest in studying among students of the specialty «Tourism».
