Abstract

When studying the problem of forming universal human values through folk games among primary school students at physical education lessons, based on the analysis of scientific and methodological literature, the social, physical and psychological significance of physical education for the overall development of a person was shown. Definition of the concept of value in the field of sciences of philosophical, pedagogical and physical culture and sports. The main three directions of the main values of physical culture were shown: material, artistic, spiritual and moral. The characteristics of the main types of national games, classification and analysis of their meaningful features are given. A positive environment for the formation of universal values through national games for primary school students in physical education lessons is provided only through a harmoniously organized social, school and family environment. In the course of the study, the possibilities of the types of games held at the lesson of physical culture with elementary school students were shown.
