Abstract

This article examines an important problem of modern society, which is associated with the need to find alternative methods of educating the younger generation. In the context of rapidly changing modernity and the influence of new trends on the consciousness of young people, there is a risk of loss of cultural and moral values. The article emphasizes that taekwondo, in addition to physical training, also includes an educational aspect that can form important spiritual and moral qualities necessary for social adaptation and orientation of a person. The article reveals the features of the transmission of these values through ethics and philosophical teachings that underlie taekwondo. The article presents a description of the results of a survey of respondents (taekwondo athletes from Kazakhstan, n=48), which made it possible to identify a fairly high level of understanding of the culture and moral principles of taekwondo among young men involved in this sport, and also draws conclusions that determine the level of their socialization.
