Abstract

The article examines the features of healthy lifestyle formation among university students based on the analysis of data from the World Health Organization’s WHOQOL-BREF (KAZ) scale. This instrument provides a comprehensive assessment of quality of life, including health status, physical activity, psychological resilience, social relationships, and environmental conditions. These indicators reflect students’ attitudes toward their own health, self-preservation skills, and the level of healthy lifestyle development. The university period is a crucial stage that significantly influences students’ future professional and social adaptation. Healthy habits formed during this time – such as regular physical activity, balanced nutrition, avoidance of harmful behaviors, and emotional stability – may be maintained throughout life. The analysis revealed that psychological resilience and social support are key factors in improving students’ quality of life, despite low levels of physical activity and insufficiently developed nutrition culture. The findings can serve as a theoretical and practical basis for designing programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening the physical, psychological, and social well-being of students within the university education system.
