The aim of this study was to determine the current state of digitalization in sports education in Kazakhstan and develop proposals for transforming this process. The study's design was theoretical. For the first time, the paradigm of digitalization of sports education was analyzed through the consideration of this area as a single ecosystem (digital platforms, teachers, students) using a systems approach, and the unification of pedagogy, sports theory and IT technologies, using an interdisciplinary approach. Based on a comparative analysis of domestic and international experience, the main obstacles to the timely digitalization of sports education were identified and key areas for transformation were formulated. This study is critically important for bridging the gap between traditional training methods and the new requirements of the sports industry and is particularly significant for the development of specialized (physical education and sports) universities and the training of competitive specialists.
