Methodological significance of the development of professional competence of the future teacher in the field of physical culture and sports

The article reveals the structure of the methodological significance of the development of professional competence of the future teacher of physical culture and sports, through the analysis of methodological approaches (systemic, personal, synergetic, polysubject). A content analysis of the concept of "Professional competence" is given. The psychological and pedagogical aspects of the development of professional competence are considered, including activity, independence, cooperation, readiness for continuous self-education, willingness to share knowledge, skills and abilities with students. In the course of the study, we identified three components (motivational, informative, reflexive), and also identified seven main components of a teacher's professional competence in the field of physical culture and sports: creative abilities, emotional competence, ability to work in a team, critical thinking, flexible consciousness, the ability to make decisions independently, the ability to reflect. The results of the diagnostic study were clearly presented in percentage terms through graphic elements.
