Professional competence as a factor of professional formation of physical culture and sports specialists

The article discusses the main problems, features and ways of forming the professional training of specialists in physical culture and sports. Talking about the role of sport in the development of human potential in a social and communicative perspective, as well as the most basic direction in education, sport as a multifunctional system requires special attention. When training specialists in physical culture and sports, it is necessary to focus on the needs of the labor market; it is also necessary to take into account the socio-economic situation of the surrounding society, since vocational training must be constantly updated and meet the necessary needs of a particular society. At this stage of development, the educational space is characterized by constant changes and expansion of its area, and the sphere of physical culture and sports requires improving organizational structures and improving the quality of training of specialists through innovative technologies. In the course of the study, we gave a theoretical analysis and definition of the main key concepts and, in practical terms, an analysis of the survey data of future specialists in this field, and came to the conclusion that the training methodology should be aimed at an active, independently developing participant in the cognitive process.
