Review of recommendations for the compatibility of aerobic and strength exercises in one training session in the context of the prevention of non-communicable diseases

The work indicates that at the present stage of development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, special attention is paid to issues of prevention in the field of health care and the formation of a healthy lifestyle, and also emphasizes the presence of problems in the fight against non-communicable diseases in our country. The authors note the fact that regular implementation of aerobic and strength training is a scientifically proven factor in the prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases. At the same time, the recommendations of the World Health Organization do not indicate whether it is possible to combine aerobic and strength exercises in one training session without losing the health-improving effect. In this regard, the authors of the article made an attempt to identify current scientifically based data in order to determine the possibility of compatibility of performing aerobic and strength exercises in one training session, without loss of the healing effect for people leading a healthy lifestyle aged 18 to 65 years with no contraindications to physical education and sports. The work is in the nature of a review article, where, based on an analysis of valid sources of scientific information, the authors give a reasoned conclusion on the research topic.
